2008 SUMMER SKILLS & SCRIMMAGES
The 2008 Summer Skills and Scrimmages is designed for the beginner to novice level player who is looking to improve on ice skills as well as on ice awareness. As well as physical conditioning, the camp is designed to strengthen skating, shooting, passing, stick handling, and checking, which are all skills that need to be mastered and understood in order to become an above average hockey player. Daily scrimmages will be run in a controlled atmosphere. The camp is structured to be both challenging and fun!

CAMP SCHEDULE:

8:30-8:45 AM- Drop Off at Flyers Skate Zone

8:45-9:15 AM- Classroom

9:15-9:45 AM- off Ice stretching and warm up

9:45-10:00 AM- Locker room dressing

10:00-11:15 AM- On Ice skating, skills, and drills

11:15-11:30 AM- Locker room undressing

11:30-12:00 PM- Lunch (provided by camp)

12:00-12:45 PM- Classroom

12:45-1:45 PM- Off Ice workout/game

1:45-2:10 PM- Locker room dressing

2:10-3:20 PM- On Ice warm-up and controlled scrimmage

3:20-3:45 PM- Locker room undressing

3:45 PM- Player pick up at Flyers Skate Zone
All Players Should Bring:

Proper work out gear for off ice workouts

Water bottle for on and off ice

Sweat towel and extra change of clothes

Full equipment for on ice drills and scrimmage

Any snacks or drinks which may be needed on individual basis
*Space limited to 23 skaters and 2 goalies*
